Another thing: you might consider just sanding the neck with very, very fine sand paper.
This will sound odd, given your request for a glossy neck, but hear me out.
I have a rosewood neck, and, at the advice of forum regulars, sanded my neck with 600, then 1000, then 2000 grit sand paper. (My understanding is that the Warmoth necks are shipped after they've been sanded with 300 grit.) Then I wiped it with some plain old lemon oil I bought at target. It feels so nice on my hand now. It's super-slick, much more so than my fender neck which has a glossy neck.
I spent less than 5 minutes with each grit, as it didn't take much time at all (I just did the back of the neck where my hand touches) to smooth it out.
