I got western NY snow stories as I lived in buffalo for two years, like the one about the body in the snow bank in the spring (guy left a bar and didn't make it home) ... I'm not one to ever disparage a place, but ... I live far from away there.

I'm proud to report that where I live our snowfall was .... ZERO!

What they got was lake effect snow, and it is a CRAZY thing. I feel for them, I hope the Buffalonians are OK.

(now watch, tomorrow we get a dump.)

I've seen the lake effect snow rolling across the landscape like a haboob, it looks freakin' amazing. If you've every seen a haboob, just imagine one made out of snow but taller.
