Rear routed control plate???

Okay so where do you get those control plates for rear routed guitars like les pauls and sgs? Do they come with the warmoth bodies when u order one? Cuz u can't buy them in the hardaware section and I honestly can't think of anywhere to find them. Thanks

Probably not being entirely clear...... so they cover the volume and tone pots on les's and sgs and then there's another covering the three way switch on the les pauls

It's been my experience that they come with the body.

They come with the body. Stew Mac sells a cavity cover, and also a template for routing the matching cavity in the body. There are different shapes of covers for different body shapes, so you need to check for fit. You could always rout one from a pickguard blank, or if you don't like the ones that come with the body (plain black template) use them as a template for cutting one from thin wood. Stew Mac sells thin wood pieces for pegheads that you can use for this depending on the size of the cover. It works for a P-Bass but the cover for a J-bass is a bit larger and won't fit.
