Really bad weekend, lost my Warmoths

Fire incinerated my house and garage. Lost all but 1 of my Warmoths. It was at a friends. Lost my GOTM. It was apocalyptic.
Car was melted beyond recognition.

Thanks for the well wishes. My wife and I were in San Diego at a conference. Her father was living in our in-law unit because he and her mother's house was destroyed by the Sylmar fire exactly a year ago. Not making this up. He called us having not heard about the mandatory evacuation. He told my wife that "Phillip's car is on fire". She sent a text, "GET OUT!!!". He did and saved himself and the dog. The only 2 deaths so far from the Woolsey fire was a mile from the house. 

The video was (is) going to be green screen of me and also me and the keyboard player up on a billboard during traffic.

I have a 25.5" scale Warmoth wenge fatback Tele neck that's never been played if you want to start rebuilding around that.  I also have a rosewood-on-maple Allparts Strat neck, also nearly new.  I know it's early to consider rebuilding, but if you want one of these parts, let me know and it's yours.

That is incredibly generous. Thank you very much. I am hoping beyond hope that there might be some kind of usable part somewhere in the ashes. Even if a bridge screw or tuner that made it. That part will be elevated to survivor status and have a meaningful place in a future build.

I'm truly glad to hear you and your family (including dog) are OK.

It's a shame about loosing the guitars and other stuff but at least it's all replaceable. Family is what makes a home, anyway.

That sucks. My parents house had an electrical fire about 20 years ago (when I still lived there). It's hard to even remember everything you had to get the insurance company to replace.

So sorry to read about your loss, but thankful that everyone is alive and well. I'm sure it's painful, but in the end, it's just "stuff", and stuff can be replaced. Stay strong Brother, things will get better.

My heart goes out to you, because while most material things can be replaced, we guitar players all know how personal these instruments are.  Just be glad you have your life and health, and move forward by building new ones.
