question about fretboard

I posted a question about a custommade fretboard, already with inlay, and I was told W. wont work with that, but:

what if I hand in my own piece of wood? could warmoth make me a neck with a board I send to them? i want to have snakewood as my fingerboard... is it negotiable, or absolutely a no-no?

I think they take customer wood for bodies and such, the price stays the same as if it was W wood.
