I just returned from a week in California seeing my son and grandsons, along with grand-dog and grand-cat.
My son surprised me with a completed hand wired 5F2-A chassis. Has a single EL84 and a 12AX7. I played it once through a speaker he had laying around, but now I’m looking to install it either in a traditional combo cab or in a mini head + single 1x8” or 1x10” extension cab to look like a mini half stack in traditional tweed and oxblood. What I’ve found so far seems pricy. Also having trouble finding one with a 9”x2” cutout for the controls.
Go check out some of his work. He is Lingwendil on the tdpri forums.
