Does this thing look RAD or what?!

Want to support it right now for just LOOKING so frickin' cool!

Unfortunately, funds are extremely tight, and even if I had the cash to blow, I can't find any reviews on it anywhere (strange since the chassis would surely catch the eye of the gaming community in a flash!).

I suppose if I were still 8 years old, I might be attracted to it. But, appearance aside, it's really not that much computer for $1500. I mean, 8GB of RAM and a 240GB SSD of dubious pedigree? Who do these guys think they are, Apple?

I built myself a machine with one of these last year.  It's fanless, so it's completely silent.  Heat removal is handled by the case itself.  Not necessarily a gaming computer, I use it as a media machine.  Since it's silent it doesn't interfere with the movie watching experience.

That's pretty cool, Ghotiphry. My laptop has a huge fan with dual outlets and it almost hovers when it comes on. :icon_biggrin:

I wouldn't review it. I wouldn't admit that I had one of those.

Also, as Cagey said, the specs are pretty iffy.

My thought was that they left the RAM low for the owner to upgrade in the future to keep initial costs down.

C'mon, that case rocks, you know it does!  :turtle:

And I suppose Windows blue-screens to give your CPU/GPU a chance to cool down? It's not a bug - it's a feature!  :laughing7:

Everything in that case - mobo, CPU/heatsink, memory, SSD, graphics card and power supply can be had at retail for between $800-$900. Add $100 for a decent case and you're still under$1,000.

Thanks, man. I needed someone with a bit more experience/analytical mind.
I'm still wet behind the ears and make decisions based on emotion, rather than logic and reason.

I want that cute little thing to be my R2D2 but the reality is that the funds are lacking and the PC I have now is still chugging along somewhat reliably.

I DO plan on going balls out on my next computer though.

*Balls out for $1,000 hey that's not bad!  :cool01:
