Hi Guys,

I'm doing the wiring for my rear cavity Strat project and I've got a problem.  The shafts of the pots I was going to use (a Fender/CTS 250k and a Fender/CTS 250k "No Lad") are too short and there isn't enough shaft exposed (lol) for me to tighten the nut on.

Any suggestions (parts numbers etc) would be appreciated

Get a 3/4" forstner bit and drill the cavity a bit deeper behind those holes.  I have done this on my strat to mount a rotary switch.

I've ordered some Les Paul type pots...I don't really like the idea of drilling the guitar  as my woodworking skills are not particularly great

Yeah, just get the deep ones, and save the short ones. You're an addict now, junior, you'll need them some dark night. :evil4: Bwa ha ha etc.
