Let me try this again. This summer I am going to build a Telecaster. It will be stained green with minwax. It's just to cold here to work on one now.I will have to do all the staining out side so I can let it dry for 8 hours before I can bring it inside to let it finish drying for a week or two.I have work on a lot of guitars in my time but have never built one for the get go.A lot of people I know tells me I can't build one ha ha.Little do they know who I am.Never tell me I can't do something lol.I always look at it like this if people that do this all the time can build one so can I.Back when my wife was still with me she knew it always piss me off when someone told me I could not do what ever I was going to do lol.I guess you could call me a jack of all trades and master of none.I build just about anything I want or that we needed here. And it has always turned out good.Sometimes I had to re do it a few times before I was happy with the way it look.Someone here had a really good looking green guitar I bet it look better in person than it did in the picture they always do. :headbang1:

Welcome aboard.  Sounds like you're in it to win it.  Here's the story of my efforts to turn mahogany bright green:
