I entered Gordita into the GOTM at Project Guitar.

It's the only Halfmoth.

If you can ignore the awesome dyed top (uncarved, mind you, how's that for lazyness!), the nasty kanji joke, and the sweet looking mahogany firebird type thingy, and the st patty's day top mount pups, and the ScatterLee fusion SG Strat with scrumptious finish, and the holy-cool spidertar, then please sign up and VOTE!

I'd love to win.

If any of you submitted any of those guitars, I think they're great. Except for the Kanjitar.

Lotta nice guitars there, and yours came out really well. I'm so used to seeing Strats and Teles I sometimes forget other types exist <grin>

No, I'm not the "Kanjitar" type, but I couldn't vote for any of them because the thread was locked. Didn't see a way to vote, anyway. But, you asked me to vote for you, so I would have, given the chance.

You have to sign up though.

I love the comments ppl are putting down - seems I've offended some by putting gloss on unfilled grain...  :icon_biggrin:

Well, it finally let me in, so you got another vote. You're right, though. They're not impressed with the exposed grain.

How tedious, all guitars looking the same all shiny and stuff. I like seeing grain in guitars myself :)

I would really like to vote for the goat.. however.. I don't think anybody here would like it if one of the contestants for our GOTM would ask outsiders to sign up for an account here to vote for them...
maybe project guitar is a bigger community and it won't matter that much.. I don't know... maybe I am wrong.

I frequent there also and this is a much larger community.  Project guitar is mainly for people who build their instruments entirely of scratch and the people there tend to be very picky about who wins GOTM.  It's a really nice place; however and I suggest you all join.  It can be very worthwhile.

ok, in that case, I will take it back...

Respectfully disagree.
I would argue that GOTM is probably one of the most subjective things ever - and if what makes you vote is that you like the builder - that's your prerogative (seems as good a reason as "should have put oil instead of..."). If some guy (or gal) built a Warmoth, and got all his buddies to vote, good on him (or her). If I PM'ed UW members to ask for their vote before GOTM, that would be sneaky, but not wrong, because there's no counterpart. As it turns out, you could join PG and vote for whatever you wanted! (Just remember I have the only halfmoth!!!
