Planning the next build around a neck

I'm 44.  I'll be 45 in January. I'll just say this:  Satriani's male pattern baldness preceded mine, but not by much.  And my solution to that issue is about an eighth-inch away from his solution.

Also, that's not my Joe LP; it's an image I grabbed to illustrate the point.  In 1988 I was still buying most of my music on CASSETTES, because CD's were two to three times as expensive, and I didn't have a turntable.

Well, we're about the same age, I just turned 44 this past Sept. And ya, I wore that cassette out, and Surfing... :icon_thumright:

Sorry Wyliee, it just is... :dontknow:

:: sigh :: OK, I'll be the odd man out.  I kinda' like the VA headstock.  At least it isn't a Tyler headstock....

The Jaguar is my favorite body style so I suggest it. 7/8 Tele bodies look weird to me.
I was going to suggest TV Jones pickups but you have a Gretsch so P90's are my next choice. Very versatile pickups, they can do any kind of music except extreme metal... :party07:

+1 on the TV Jones pickups, ala La-Cabra-Jag, simple control layout, Pearl White with White Pearloid Pickguard, Flatmount bridge, gold hardware.  Headstock-Face painted to match body.

Heck, you could go TV Jones in the bridge, Tele Neck in the middle, and TV Jones in the neck for something really unique.  I think Duncan has Gold Tele Neck Pickup Covers for special order, there are other vendors that have them also though on the cheap.

Here's an example
