I call this bass ''planet lacewood''... See the close up picture below    :glasses9:  This was my first Warmoth bass, and since I've build it I have been thinking about what to build next  (damn..!).

With this one I wanted a classic Jazz bass - with a twist or two. The classic being the layout for the Jazz and the burst finish. The twists being the quatersawn pau ferro neck, and the macassar ebony fretboard.I love this bass..! And because it's my first build I have promised myself never to sell it.

Here are the specs:

BODY:
Mahogany body with lacewood top
Sunburst, or maybe it's tobacco finish. Gloss black on the back.
White pearl pick guard
Hipshot brass bridge
EMG - JVX pick ups
Schaller strap locks

NECK:
Pau Ferro quatersawn raw neck with carbon rods in it
Macassar Ebony fretboard and pearl dots
Hipshot all crome ultralite tuners
crome Warmoth logo

Thanks guys..! I think this is one of the nicest looking jazz basses I have seen, it's just so damn hard to get got pics of the lacewood because it has this flip/flop effect. Here is another one...
