Okay, I bought a Squier Jagmaster on impulse cause it was cheap. I was thinking I would slap a Warmoth neck in there, replace the pickups and wiring and be on my way to a sweet little guitar. Alas, I didn't do my research and according to the Warmoth site, they don't have necks available for the Squier Jagmaster due to unknown specs. This is not that bad of a guitar, but it doesn't compare to my Warmoth Strat. The neck just doesn't feel the same. If I can't replace the neck I am going to put new pickups in(the duncan designed suck), stick some heavy strings on and drop it to D and assault it with my tortex pick. I don't want to spend a lot on pups since I could easily spend more on them than I did for the guitar. I will prolly only use this thing for chunking away with the gain on my boogie set to 10. I was thinking of going with GFS power rails. They are cheap, 70-80 bucks for 2, and have heard some decent things in general about the value of the GFS pups. Does anyone have any experience with the power rails? Any other suggestions for some inexpensive solutions for the Jagmaster?
