Our very own MayFly getting some love from Premier Guitar!

Great sounding review, and I agree it's a great sounding pedal.

@ 4:50 he talks about opening up the back to tweak the cab sim. I looked and didn't see anything tweakable.

Is there more info on this?

Hiya,

There are two small trim-pots inside the unit - they are just south of the power jack. One is for cabinet resonance, which increases the low end peaking of the cab sim, and the other is for cone resonance, which increases the high end peaking of the cab sim. They are labeled so you can tell one from the other. They are pretty small, so you'll need a jeweller's screwdriver to weak them.
The 'factory' setting is:
  • cab resonance: 50% (half way up)
  • cone resonance: 75% (two thirds the way up)
This gives that high-peaking sound of a jensen in an open backed cabinet. If you want more celestion/closed back, try reducing the cone resonance to 50% and increasing the cab resonance to 75%.

I guess I better do a video on this or something...

Update: Here they are:
