I had considered buying a Mod Kits DIY Persuader pedal kit and I realized that it uses a transistor in lieu of a vacuum tube. The Officially Licensed Circuits Eclipse Valve is an all tube signal path and is more of a transparent clean boost than a distortion pedal. Maybe from this and another post you can see that I am trying to have a more hands-on approach to understand what is going on with my rig equipment.
