Hellion's "Bad Attitude" - from the album "Screams In The Night".

Chet Thompson is the guitarist... Anne Boleyn (female) is the singer.

Promo video with (overlayed) recorded song from album.

Why do I dig it?  Cuz it has a bit of everything, it builds perfectly and it's all very tasty.  However, IIRC, Chet
was a student of Randy Rhoads, so his tone was unfortunately influenced as well.

He reminds me more off Jake E Lee than Randy..
he doesn't get close to either though...

It Has to be... if you want to hear a cheesy hair song with a world class solo, then listen to Wait (White Lion)

Sorry, but that's not even close to being a good hair metal band solo. Much less the best,....

Yeah, what up wit dat?

I lived and breathed hair-metal (what was I gonna do, listen to freakin' new wave and Culture Club?)... although
today I listen to *some* of that old stuff and it does nothing for me.

I was a hair-metal fan too.  I even had a mullet.  I don't deny it, but I won't embrace it.  Like bell-bottoms, once some time passes you realize how stupid it was.  The make-up, the choreographed moves, the screams.  Why did I like that crap?

And SL, no I don't expect you to listen to the Culture Club.  The 80s weren't all bad, they gave us The Cult, The Cure, G 'n' R, The Smiths, NIN, etc.  Definitely more bad music around than good.

the problem now is that "classic" rock stations are lumping this stuff in with Cream and Hendrix and Van Morison.... makes me turn off the radio every time. I was a teen in the eighties and avoided most if not all music that was being made at the time.

Beats other radio stations...

I was never into hair metal (so I'm not an expert) but I wouldn't call Savatage hair metal.

I think Dokken were a hair metal band. This is the only song of them that I like. It has no stupid lyrics (BIG plus) and I like George Lynch sound and playing style. It's a whole song but he's soloing from the beginning to the end!
