Haha my first song ever.  I'll dig through my Time Machine backups to try to find the original Garageband version.  So embarrassing, but I learned so much about recording and engineering on it.  Probably over 800 hours on it on that one.  Talk about a steep learning curve.  Anyway, all the acoustics in this one are from that original recording, just re-treated.  Makes me reminisce about a time in life when I was less burdened and maybe a bit more optimistic.  Cheers, dudes and gnite.

Not my favorite of your recent tracks, but I still enjoyed it. I'll give it another spin to be sure. :laughing11:

Very nice.
Drums are a just slightly a little loud for me (listening on Vintage Auratones with a sub powered by a Marantz 1060) but only because I'd like to hear the bass and guitars a little louder.

Good to know - Any areas in particular?  I mix on KRK Rockit 6's and only have my iphone and car stereo to listen to, so mixing is challenging.  I do tend to mix the drums up front, so I'll play around with the track this weekend.  I really appreciate this kind of feedback and love that you're listening on this type of gear.

Front and end is where they seemed too loud to me.
It seemed the other instruments got louder, or the drums got quieter in the middle of the song.
"Middle" meaning just generally in the time frame of the song.

It's not a deal breaker at all and it all works fine just as it is but I thought I'd mention it.

^ Good stuff, my friend.  Will have another listen.  The bridge needs to be remixed a bit to bring out a bit more separation, as well.
