I was hoping for a trainwreck.  It was alright.  Better than the last couple of years, half-time shows.  Although that's not saying much.  Still not as good as Prince playing Purple Rain in the rain.

I don't own one piece of Madonna music, and thought it was throughly entertaining.  I am eagerly awaiting Stubhead's introspective approach of what entertainment is and what type of person is entertained by that, how it will never be as good as a Jeff Beck or Steve Morse halftime show with a 4 knobbed LP, but he doesn't watch TV.  :icon_jokercolor: It was 1,000 x's better than last year's Suck Eyed Peas.

As for the game being boring, it wasn't an offensive showdown.  But a safety on a team's 1st possession, 17 unanswered points by the loser, a touch down given to the winner they were reluctant to make, lead changes, long balls, a hail marry after time ran out that would've changed the outcome, a MVP worthy player that wasn't a QB?  Yeah, boring football.

Thats funny. Hockey, Basketball and Baseball (nevermind sports like Soccer and ASSCAR ) can all die horribly in a fire and
expunged from all human records. As long as I still have the NFL.

I thought Madonna's half-time show was the best I can recall in recent memory.  I found it sad she had to lip-synch though.

I didn't see the Prince half-time show, however...

Like I said, Madonna put on a good show

and about sports I like

Road racing I love, ovals not so much but good

hockey and soccer, top notch, always stuff going on

Baseball, I am addicted to, the duel between pitcher and batter is great and to watch a good defensive play run out, fantastic, I actually can get on the edge of my seat watching it.
