Norwegian ash strat body.

Hi.
I wan´t to build my own strat body out of glued parts of Norwegian ash. I don't know how this compares to American ash but still want to give it a go. What are your thoughts about this?
I wan´t to give it a Warmoth neck and some quality components. I have the wood for the body and I am a CNC operator, but i do not have the drawings for a strat body. Does anybody have å scale drawing for a strat body? I want the standard layout with 3 single coil pickups and a 6-hole vintage bridge.

If your ash is well cured,  you shouldn't have any trouble with it.


I think if you go to the tdpri.com forums, there are a lot of builders who are willing to share plans there.  You can also get plans and templates from Ron Kirn, who posts frequently there - go to ronkirn.com for details.
