I was up all night again last night, on call. Then I had my regularly scheduled cases, today. Tired, but waiting for the coffee to wear off. Sometimes my best musical inspirations are at this time, when I am waiting for the coffee to wear off, but my mind is blank from being tired.  Great way to decompress.  I grabbed my favorite guitar of all time, my Jackson SL-2H.  I've always been partial to neck-through guitars.  This one, in particular, is just so buttery to play and is dynamically responsive.  I'd be on board in a split second if Warmoth ever came up with a neck-through offering (ie., Carvin).

But I figured something out: I don't want you to watch the video, unless for some reason you want to see how some lick was played. Instead, just open the video on You Tube and play it, then continue surfing UW or the web. You'll have almost four minutes of music you might like. If you don't like it, you can easily turn it off.  :laughing7:  I'm not a shredder, and never will be.  I just try to make the best with what chops I have.  Watching me on video is not going to wow anyone.  I just want people to enjoy what they hear.

Peace out.

That's just way cool and one gorgeous guitar, too.  I love shark fin and shark tooth inlays and that natural finish is stunning.  I've said it before - you have the most amazing music room.

I wish I had the problem of waiting for coffee to wear off haha. I think it's lost its kick sometimes - until I have a cup of Turkish or Vietnamese coffee ha!

I also find that those twilight moments are where some of the best writing can occur. When I was between contracts, I'd wake up every morning at 5:30 AM and hit the DAW. I never planned out a single song. I'd write as I recorded and had a blast not knowing what the next line would bring.

Thanks again for sharing!  :guitarplayer2:

Thanks for the kind words, Frank.  Love my SL-2H.  It is that standard against which I compare all my other guitars.  :icon_thumright:

This apparently is my best to date.  229 YouTube views, 8 thumbs up, one thumbs down, and some positive commentary.

Very nice video.  What I can appreciate is you do not need lightning speed or flash to sound incredible.  You simply need a good working knowledge and most important, FEELING!

Thank you.  Like I said, I'm not a shredder, and never will be.  I just try to share what I hope someone, or some-more-than-one, will enjoy.  Feeling and a basic working knowledge is the only recipe I know.  :icon_thumright:
