Noise-cancelling p-90s

Need some noise cancelling P-90s for a new build (mahogany body, rosewood fretboard).

Any recommendations for noiseless P90s? I've read a lot, and listed to some YouTube demos, but it's hard to get a good idea of the sound of the pickups, unless they are doing a side by side with a pickup you know.

Anyway, sounds like the DiMarzio and Duncans aren't really all that great...I look at the one Lace makes and looks like Kinman does, too.

Any other suggestions? One thing I would like to stay away from. Is strat-like sounds (I had a Music Man SS, had "P90s" that sounded exactly like a Strat). The pickup definitely needs to have some P90 muscle.

Thanks!

Kinman is a good bet if you can afford them.
Another good choice would be Lindy Fralin P-92's. The ones I've heard are exceptional, but certainly not inexpensive! http://www.fralinpickups.com/product/p92/

I have a set of Lindy's P92s that sound pretty good. Don't know what they're like relative to P90s; I haven't played around with P90s in a long time. Far too noisy for my taste.

For what it's worth, Lindy's marketing weenie says:
A humbucker in size and shape, but the tone is beefy and single single coil sounding. This pickup is perfect for guitarists looking for a thick and beefy P-90 type tone in their guitar. This P-92 is right in-between the tone of a single-coil and a P-90.

Huge Fan of Dimarzio here. Their "Area" noiseless Strat pickups leave virtually nothing to be desired from a traditional Strat single coil IMO.

For the P-90's, I'd be willing to bet the reasonably priced Dimarzio  'Virtual P-90'model  would more than satisfy pretty much any tone hound;

..one guy who is , umm, pretty good , Paul Gilbert,with tone par-excella'nce, uses 'em. I think Dimarzio, and the Dimarzio main engineer/  'designer artist'  Steve Bleucher (outstanding in the field) utilize CNC controlled windings that can layer the designers wirings to exact specs paralleling a custom hand scatter  wind.

Gibson P-100 and Seymour Duncan stacked P-90s wired parallel and with higher value pots are damn-near identical to regular P-90 tones. The problem is that when they're the stock pickup in a guitar they're often given 250k pots, which warms them up considerably, and of course some people do wire them series which is basically just a normal humbucker tone.

That said, for my money the best hum-cancelling P-90s are from Creamery Pickups. his 'hidden humbucker' P-90 with A5 magnets and wired parallel are, to my ears, no different from a standard single coil P-90, minus the hum. They're intended to be wired series and sound like a Firebird pickup, but parallel wiring is absolute P-90 tone. Again, use them with higher value pots for best results. Basically the same deal as the Gibson & SD pickups, but just that fraction closer to a normal P-90, if you can afford the premium boutique price.
