Gonna grain-fill it, and then my painter will spray a see-thru polyurethane dark maroon.
Think I'm gonna try Old Masters.

I am not familiar with Old Masters other than those like Rembrandt. It must be a US product...

That sounds like a winner to me, maroon should go great with that grain!
