New neck, what size?

Very confused about necks. So many options, sizes etc.

So I have this el cheapo Telecaster Squire, and it has a really nice sized neck which I like. So on my build I would like to emulate the size and shape of that neck.

What measurements should I take so I can order a similar neck?

Also do Warmoth install Earvana?

Width at the nut.  Thickness of neck (fretboard to back of neck) at first and 12'th fret. Look at the neck profiles page and give your reference neck a good feel and try to determine which profile most closely matches.

Try to see the radius of the fretboard... as you look new on this stuff you probably won't have the tools to see it, so perhaps you should let your neck to a luthier help you (specially if you don't have a caliper, that will be needed to take accurate measures of nut width, neck thickness, etc...)

Mind that your Tele body cames routed for Strat neck pocket, so you'll need a strat neck or a tele neck modified to fit (NOT returnable)

Without seeing this Squier, and compared to the feel of the ones I've played, I would bet the nut width is 1 5/8" and the neck contour is probably closest to Warmoth's standard thin.  However, this is just my best educated guess based on other Squiers and not yours.

I would say the same as STDC if he hadn't already said it. 1 5/8 and standard thin, probably but not guaranteed.
