New Neck Day

Just received this one the other day. Roasted flame maple, 59 profile, and SS6105 frets. My first maple fingerboard, and first SS frets.

Will be going on this,when I finally figure out the finish. Thinking about a Wudtone kit.

Love the roasted maple necks, they just have an almost 'instant antique' look to them regardless of what finish is applied.  Just make sure your pilot holes are drilled to correct diameter as the wood is a bit more brittle and prone to splitting after being roasted.  Looking forward to your finished project.
