new job wish me luck

i start work on monday, it's temp with option to hire so i need to make a good impression. so i need all the luck i can get.

my diesel truck has been cranking slow, changed batteries, cleaned connectors, alternator puts out a solid 14v at idle, next step check for voltage drop at the starter and clean grounding points. it'll need to wait till i get paid to put in a new starter so if it's that i'll need a whole lotta luck.

maybe your wishes and prayers if your into that sorta thing will get me through till i get paid.

the truck is my only transportation till i can put money together and fix my car which left me stranded 350 miles from home and is in a friends driveway on the other end of new york state.
it's ironic but the mechanics car is always broken, in english there was an expression that went like: "the shoe makers children always go barefoot," this is just the luck i'm having lately, when i'm not relying on something to work it works flawlessly for years on end untill it becomes important and then it lets go.
