Flat black pickguard to match the EMG "Steve Lukather" SL20 set Im going to install on it.

As I said before..............Cant wait for it to arrive!!!

Welcome to the forum,

that's an incredible looking guitar, I'm sure it will look better in person. You did that with photoshop?

Max has some competition now, I really need to learn how to photoshop.

So did you take photos from Warmoths showcase to do that?

Beat me to it. Max, we expect a 'shop off.  :laughing7:

That looks very classy  :icon_thumright:

Somebody post something after 11:45. That way, I'll see this thread again when I get home. With the picture.

Oooh. that guitar is going to have some serious class about it when finished. :o :icon_thumright: :blob7:

Welcome, I'm sure the wait for it to come together will be worth it.

Great photoshop, man  :icon_thumright:

Where did you get the source images for the various parts?

All of the images are from Warmoth.com exept for the tuners and pickups. I just Googled up a closeup of a fender headstock and cut out the tuners, same for the pickups. And matched them to the rest of the guitar. I just noticed I forgot the 5 way switch and the strapholders  :-\ :icon_scratch:..............fixed

Ha, I'm too lazy to do strings normally. The fender site is great for some pictures, if you've never tried it.

I noticed the 5 way switch earlier. I assumed you didn't want one, and didn't remove that bottom screw.

Oh, if you want to make it just a bit better (and that extra little bit makes a huge difference), find a different pic of a jack plate, if you can. That one is crooked. And see if you can find a pic of the tuners taken from further away, so that the tuners don't go off away from the center of the headstock. I'm guessing you got it off a pic of a headstock only, zoomed fairly close.

I only get picky when the thing is getting really close to perfection  :icon_thumright:

Ah I never tought about the fender site. That is also a good resourse for source images.

Yep the jack plate and tuners is'nt that good. I'll check the fender site for that now  :icon_biggrin:

It has arrived. I have just installed the neck and tuners. Still waiting for the pickups.
It's more brown than red in real life. And it is extremly lightweight. My other guitars feels very heavy compared to the Warmoth.

Heres some pics of the beauty.
