need advice on building an eric johnson artist model neck clone

i am building my own version of the fender eric johnson signature model. i really love the necks on these things. my main question is if anyone has compared any of the warmoth neck profiles to the eric johnson? i think the boat neck would be the closest but think that it might be a little bigger than the johnson. any help on this topic be greatly appreciated.

if you get an exotic boat neck, it won't need a finish so you can bolt it to the guitar and see how it feels, and then sand it to whatever shape feels best to you  :icon_thumright:
