Hey guys. So I finally got round to getting some new Pickups for my Birdseye topped Epi LP.
I got the guitar in 96 for my 16th birthday, and I loved it. I remember when it really came to life for me though, when I put some Seymour Duncans in it. A JB in the bridge and 59 in the neck.
Well the guitar has come to life AGAIN for me. I bought a Bare Knuckle Rebel Yell for the bridge, and a swapped the SD JB and 59 for a friends Bare Knuckle Riff Raff. The Riff Raff is actually a bridge pup, but I'm putting it the neck.
These Pickups are great. I'll get some clips recorded and post them.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I changed out all the electrics for CTS pots, Orange Drop tone caps and Switchcraft switch and jack socket. Theres also a treble bleed network on the volume knobs so it doesnt get muddy when you turn it down.
And the friend was 'sometime poster' RedMcmannus from this very forum. Cheers Wayne.
