Amps come and amps go, but I keep on coming back to the small EL84-powered combo.  This would be your mint condition Mesa Boogie Studio Caliber to take the place the godawful-heavy and overloud Yamaha T100C formerly occupied.  You may commence envying me in 3...2...1...NOW.

This showed up on Saturday afternoon.  I haven't spent much time with the lead channel, but the clean channel has already provided a great deal of gratification.

Quty Pie makes beautiful jazzbox and slightly driven blues sounds here.  Thanks again, Cagey, for wiring that sucker - I have really appreciated your work the last couple days.

They have their place, and I still use one for the bulk of my playing, but...

i can't believe you used "NAD" in reference to a 112 combo.

cool amp though, I liked the Studio 22's.

Congrats on the new gear!

I lusted after one of those Studio Calibers for years and never did get one.

Of course, that's true of a lot of amps. But, there's just something about a Boogie.

I'm jelly.  The sound that got me to play guitar came out of a Mesa/Boogie 22 Caliber.  Without it I'm not sure where I'd be today.
