So I had a build thread going for this but I dragged some lights around to try and get some decent shots of this new axe....
Warmoth Alder strat body in Black.
Warmoth Vintage Modern maple neck with vintage tint satin finish
1 11/16 inch nut width
Standard thin contour
6150 frets
black Gotoh tuners
all black hardware
vintage 6 hole trem decked with all 5 springs installed
electronics:
standard stewmac strat wiring kit
Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails pickups neck middle and bridge
The guitar so far sounds awesome. I'm really happy with the pickups and I don't think there will be any major overhauls as far as the electronics are concerned in the near future. I can get some classic strat sound and even heavier sounds if I want. Im still messing with pickup heights the more I practice with it. It plays great. Im really happy with how this turned out. This will not be my last build.
