I'm working on a fender, not a Fender. Primed, shot, sanded, leveled, shot, wet sanded... oops sand thru... reshot, final wetsand, and buff out... sort of..... I couldn't lay hands on my TWcompound, so grabbed the Mother's aluminum and mag polish. HooooooooLordy! Shines like an oiled behind (in a butt floss bikini). Dang!
So I hadda go in... grab a geetar... and give it a little test. This will take your 600grit level sanding to buff out, by hand, with almost no effort. In fact you can follow up the Mothers with wax and leave out the really find compound-swirl remover and its very much passable.
