The sonovabish finally did it!  The Impersonator single coil is unbelievable!!!!  It sounds amazing - so much better than traditional singles coils that I've owned - Fralin Vintage Hots, Rio Grande Talboys, DiMArzio, Alnico 2's from DUncan - OMG - these blow away his Woodstock Series. 

I cannot believe someone has finally broken through and created a dynamic, balanced, uncolored, and silent single coil.  All the woody overtones are here - all the sparkle and harmonics.  Unbelievable! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I'd love to hear those.  I'm really impressed with these Impersonators.  My fav neck pickup in the world is still the Fralin Twangmaster, but if I had to choose a singlecoil, this is the ticket.

You have any idea if you can get the twangmasters with gibson spaced pole pieces?

The guitar mine is sitting in has a TOM, so you won't have any alignment issues at the neck - can't comment on the bridge. I bet lindy would be able to work with you.
