  Did not turn the tail around, it has ball end spots on both sides..

I don't miss them, never really noticed..

To call them incomplete implies they were intended to be there.  Many 20 fret acoustics don't have the pattern continue after 15.  My 24 fret sharkfinned Rickenbacker doesn't have any after 19.  Those Guilds Kim Thayil played have 19 as the last one.
