I'm interested in doing a little bit more of the build process myself for my next Warmoth guitar. I'd like to cut out my own body shape and apply finish to it. I don't have a ton of free time right now, so I'm happy to pay Warmoth to do the routing. I also don't own a good router currently (or a CNC for that matter).
I'm a little disappointed at the options available for a routed blank. I'd love to see more options like LP Controls in particular. I want to have a 3-way LP-style switch but Warmoth doesn't offer that as an option for routing. It seems like the "Routed Body Blank" is mainly for those wanting routing done for a Strat or Tele. My plan is to basically do an Ash Single-cut; kind of a mash-up of an LP and a Strat.
An option to order it with a different top would also be awesome. I'd love a Flamed Maple top, but I see the only options are plain Mahogany, Ash, or Alder.
