Mesa Lonestar/Stiletto Alternatives?

I'm looking for an amp to play instrumental music and came across the Lonestar. As much as I really like it, it's way out of my price range. I only want to spend upto about £600 if possible?

Type of artists I like playing are -

Dream Theater/John Petrucci
Neil Zaza
Marco Sfogli

I really want to find something which provides the MESA style lead guitar sound for playing expressively, but also sounds good when your playing with a bit less distortion on the Neck pickup or when you roll the vol back on the Bridge pickup. Also a nice clean channel would be a great addition.

Heres a 3 links trying to explain the sound -

Honestly, just save your money and get a Mesa if that's the sound you're looking for! I use a Mesa Stiletto Deuce Stage 1 head (unmodded), I absolutely love it! I tried a ton of other (cheaper) amps before biting the bullet and getting my Mesa, and I'm really glad I finally did! For me, it's the sound I was looking for in an amp, I jsut wish I had saved myself a lot of time and $$$ trying to find a substitute instead of just saving and going for it from the beginning.

Save your money and buy an amp you like the sound of instead of getting a substitute that you most likely won't like after all.
I want to suggest that you take a look at diezel einstein as well! :)

This is a recording of Sfogli's Still Hurts with my Diezel Herbert amp :)
