Hi everyone, i just finished the Strat from Warmoth.
Its a black Korina top with a mahogany back. Tobacco burst finish with a brown dye back. David Gilmore setup pickups ( fat 50, Fat 69, SD SSL-5) with a 7 way switch. Also the neck is a birds eye 59 round back 1-11/16 with Abalone face dots. Plays like dream !

Good look'n guitar. I probably would have gone with Black MOP for the fretboard marking, but that's a small thing compared to all the rest. Especially like the choice of pickups!

Beautiful guitar, congratulations! There is nothing like Tobacco Burst on Black Korina. It's like it glows from within. I've got a Tobacco Burst Black Korina on Alder Strat that still knocks me out every time I look at it.

Please tell me about this 7-way switch... Is it actually a 7 position lever switch or is it a 5-way with a push/pull for the "Seven Sound Strat" wiring? If it's a 7-position lever switch, I'd sure like to know where you found it!

Seems like you'd get lost easily on a 7-pos lever switch. Of course, I get lost easily no matter what, so...
