Yup....dark Roasted Maple. No finish required. These will be up for sale in the Showcase in a couple hours.

You would have to call and see if there is any more of this available. Wood like this doesn't just grow on trees, you know. <rimshot> I believe the official grade for wood with flame like this is "Ridiculous", so make sure to ask for that.

They look a bit like snakewood.

Summer time is upon us, and here in Puyallup, WA, USA we are having some of the sunniest weather in decades. To celebrate we just cranked out four ridiculous *FLAME* *ROASTED* maple Strat® replacement necks. *FLAME* Maple this *SMOKIN’* doesn’t just grow on trees, so get ‘em while they are *HOT*! You’ll be *BURNING* up the fretboard in no time, setting stages on *FIRE*, and all kinds of other goofy heat-related puns!

Well, good. Then I'll have an idea how mine will look. I bought 18087  :icon_biggrin:

too funny  :headbang1:
I guess we were just discussing roasted maple weren't we.  So, how can you beat roasted FLAME maple.

Dangit!  Why does the good stuff come up when I'm cash poor?  I've been rubbing the 2 pennies together as fast as I can and I haven't made a stack tall enough for parts yet!  The original plan was roasted maple neck on black korina body.  Seeing these necks makes me think flamed roasted maple nect and a dark brown or black body with motorcycle flames painted on the body.

To the owners of these necks, I extend you my congratulations and my jealousy.
