Paint tour!

Just saw it. Awesome! Very impressive. I got really inspired when I saw that silver flake Tele. :icon_thumright:

Very nice work stations, impressive. If it's not giving away a trade secret or anything, where do those little neck holders grip onto? Looks like it grabs the truss rod nut? Or maybe you remove the nut and just screw on to the rod?? I use the normal neck mounting holes on my home grown set up:

Just interested to see how the Pros do it!

Perhaps this thread can help shed some light/dovetail all existing information/create a unified theory:

ohhh!!!  So much for the index hole theory.

"Index Hole" and "place to attach the paint stick" aren't mutually exclusive.  :icon_thumright:

They freehand bursts? I always figured that was a mask + distance. I'm sure if you do that all day long you could free hand it pretty danged well though.

Ok Aaron, what about the Vintage Modern and the Pro's? Necks are already assembled, so the truss rod's already in place.....  :icon_scratch:

That was a very interesting video. That guy with the spray gun sure makes it look easy. No wasted motion, either. I'm totally impressed.

Nice tour.

Amazing at the end when it is revealed that it is the paint shop that can turn a tele into a soloist.  :laughing7:

Always fascinating to watch professionals at work who really know what they are doing.  I kept pausing the video to look, "Is that mine?  Nope.  That one?  Nope..."

Anyone notice those three limited edition tele bodies in there?

I guess we'll be hearing about those in the next week or so...

Nut comes off, paint goes on. Paint is dry, nut goes back on.
