I love the headstock and the contoured heel setup on the neck.  Awesome.

Definitely curious about the PRS part(s).

I agree that those necks are outstanding with that headstock and contoured heel.

Personally, I am excited. But, more importantly, I think you deserve a better chair than that. :icon_thumright:

PRS volume and tone pots. Best in the biz, IMO. Some don't like how easily they turn, but I love it. However, the best thing about them is the taper. None of this "on...on....on......on.....OFF" stuff. It's a perfectly gradual sweep from 10 to 0, with an infinite number of usable points in between. My favorite treble bleed value too.

If you've played a Core PRS you know what I'm talking about.

I haven't tried the PRS pots. I'll give them a try on my next build.

FYI, they are very persnickety about which knobs they will accept. You'll either have to use PRS knobs or something with a set screw. We chose chrome dome knobs for the Redshifter and Meadowhawk.

Do my eyes deceive me?  Is that a contoured heel?  Holy coolness Batman!!!!!  Oh wow, this is fantastic.  You guys rock.  I've been going bananas struggling what I want in another build, and this answers it all......woo hoo!!!!!!

When are these available?  Will they be available unfinished?

Awesome!!!!!!!

You'll have to think of these in a different way than most other Warmoth offerings.

This is a limited run of 40 fully-built guitars. 20 will be the trem-equipped "Redshifter", and 20 will the hardtail "Meadowhawk".

These guitars will feature a best-of-the-best list of components, as well as several cool new features that Warmoth has never offered before.

They are not configurable, and there are no plans to release any of these parts or features as standard menu items at this time, though some may eventually find their way there.

That headstock seems reminiscent of - or maybe just kinda similar to - the Talman 3x3 headstock.  I say this as an appreciator of the latter axe.  Nice looking instruments are headed our way.

These have really been a passion-project here at Warmoth for the last year or so. Every department has had a hand bringing something to the table and making them a reality.

We will definitely be undercharging for what they are. Around half the price of what similar US-built guitars cost.

I'm not exactly sure when they will be released. We had planned to unveil them at the Tacoma Guitar Festival in the last week of April, but that will almost certainly be cancelled. We've already made the decision not to attend, regardless.

Sometime in April is still the plan.

Aaron, can you divulge if there's anything in the works that involves the 24" scale length?

Nope, nothing in the works at current.

Thanks, no prob. Any more, I get knobs for 1/4" shafts with set screws. If I have pots with smaller shafts, those inserts do the trick.

Limited run.....only 40..... ???

Kidding....sort of.  I have to believe these are going to go fast.  Any idea how much I should be saving in the interim to get one of these?

And in all seriousness......thank you for doing this.  I have to believe that if all the stops were pulled out from all teams involved, this new platform is going to be great.  From the little bit seen, this is right in the wheelhouse of what I was wanting to put together.  I hope this is successful for you and this starts a slew of other than Fender based offerings from Warmoth, rather.....something truly from the mind of Warmoth.  A true Warmoth!  Awesome!

Let's say whoever gets closest to the actual price, without going over, of course, wins...nothing!

My guess...$1,695
