I'm just wondering if anyone knows where I can find out the dimensions/sizes of Ibanez frets?  I can't find anything on their website and I'm trying to figure out what the actual size is of their "Large" frets.

Like all guitar makers, Ibanez installs a variety of frets depending on model. But, from what I can find, most of them are in the "jumbo" class or larger. So, you could probably be happy with a 6105 or even a 6100 size fret, if that's what you're looking for. If all else fails, take a dial caliper to a guitar shop that sells the things and measure them for yourself. Takes 45 seconds. If they've been dressed, the dimensions won't match up to any standard size, but they'll be close enough to tell you what they started with.

hmmms. ok cool. I guess I need to get a caliper. I'm sure the frets on guitars here are too worn to take an accurate measurement on.
The ibanez's I play are listed as having "large" frets, which are larger than the "medium" frets on some models but smaller than any of the "jumbo" or "super jumbo" or whatever they use on their shredder guitars.

they need to standardize this crap in the industry

Yeah, well, they use indistinct subjective terms because most people don't know the difference between a thousandths of an inch and a duck's leg. I mean, "jumbo" is a relative term. Everybody understands that it means "bigger", but bigger than what? A blond hair? Coathanger wire? 12ga. building wire? Freeway guard rails? Tell them it means between 90 and 110 thousandths, and their eyes glaze over while they review last night's hunt at the local meat market, or how close they came to chewing their arm off this morning <grin>
