It's amazing listening to Lynch and Navarro talk about their lack of understanding music theory. Especially Lynch, the guy has probably written more great licks, riffs, solos and songs than I can even imagine or remember.

lynch's tone is weird. i played a lynch guitar once. the pickup really has "glass" to the tone. i mean i cant come up with another way to describe it. but that is how seymour duncan describes it. the different types of screws might do that, different permiability(sp?) means different inductance. different magnetic field strength means one coil over powers the other. and the idea of the features of the screw heads affecting sound might hold some merit but not much in my eyes. i want to try one in the neck position, the odd sound f the pickup was sorta cool but i dont know if i would like it for what i play now. i think that sound with more fullness and warmth might be usable though.

the video was cool, i mean the playing was cool. navarro sucked ass but lynch has some cool riffs.
