This is a used LTD MH-1000 FR model electric guitar. As you can see, it's a fancy beast, with a figured maple top and all manner of abalone purfling and inlay on the fingerboard. The guitar spent several years on a wall display in a seaside neighborhood, so the brightwork on the bridge and tuners is a little pitted from salt exposure, and there are a few rusty spots on other metal parts. The finish is almost entirely unblemished, but the obligatory tiny ding at the point of the headstock can be seen in the photos. The fretboard is somewhat scuffed in a couple places from what appears to be someone sanding the frets clean, but it's not bad. I will see if I can tidy it up before shipment, but make no promises.
The instrument functions at 100 percent, but the price reflects the cosmetic issues. There is no case, but for $35 I will include a durable, well-padded gig bag. The bar for the Floyd in black nickel can be replaced for ~$20 on Amazon.
Soundwise, the EMG pickups are high output and very quiet. You can definitely get some high-gain chug going for Metallica, math rock, or djent stuff, and they also sound great clean. Action is pretty low, but obviously you can tweeze it to suit.
I'm afraid as much fun as it would be, I cannot entertain trade offers. For Unofficial Warmoth members, I'd do $475 shipped in CONUS. Hit me with a solid offer and I'll be reasonable. Paypal only.
