I am working on a solo part of a song where no matter what I did, I was rushing it compared to the rest of the rhythm parts.  Metronome was no help either, neither was playing along with the artists song, but I found that when my guitar instructor counted out the notes, I was able to hit it every time.  Really confusing as to why that worked but nothing else did, mental block of some sort.  :icon_scratch:

So I recorded him, with my iPhone, counting it out and went home and played along with the recording and nailed it 5 times in a row.  A few hundred more times and I should have it ready.
