The research on more than 200,000 women from nine European countries found doing household chores was far more cancer protective than playing sport.

Dusting, mopping and vacuuming was also better than having a physical job.

The women in the Cancer Research UK-funded study spent an average of 16 to 17 hours a week cooking, cleaning and doing the washing.

Gotta say this is pretty appalling. Cancer Research UK is a well established and up until now, respectable, charity. But why did they only survey women ?. People seem to forget that men can get breast cancer as well.
Come to think of it, why is Race for Life only for Women ?. Sexism works both ways too.

I'm sorry, I was flipping through the channels a couple of months ago, and I happened to pass BET exactly at the moment this joke was told.

I do not condone chauvinism, sexism, nor spouse brutality. I just wanted to share some of BET's finest afternoon programing!

Yeah, and whats up with BET anyways? Regular TV isn't diverse enough? If there was WET you all know there would be
no end to Holy hammer-handed smiting that would come down from on high from the various 'letter' organizations around the world,
but BET gets a free pass?
 
Did anybody watch the BET awards last year? They "honored" Micheal Jackson, but in actuality, I thought the entire show was very sleazy, and not at all a proper forum in which to honor such a great musical icon.

And get this, THEY ARE DOING IT AGAIN THIS YEAR!

haha yep. the "versus" channel here. all hunting and fishing, except for the couple times they have some kind of car racing or MMA fights :icon_biggrin:
