Live Footage of my Band in Edmonton

Turns out the Urban Lounge has cameras set up everywhere that records the bands when they play, they end up selling them for 100 bucks if the band wants them.  We didn't have the money but our singers mother in law wanted the DVD so she bought it.  I finally got around to burning copies for everyone and ripping it to the harddrive.  Its uploading to youtube as we speak. 9 of 11 songs are done, so I'll post them here.

It kind of sucks. we did 2 more songs but they stopped recording because an hour was up.  pretty asinine considering we paid for the dvd and they coudl've let them run for another 10 minutes.  I woudl have rather they just gave us the raw footage from all the cameras so I could edit them myself, but apparently the sound man is the one who was controlling them and he kind of sucks as a camera man. but whatever. its here.

I'm sure most of you guys that have been here since the new forum started should recognize which one I am, but in case you're wondering. I'm the disgusting one that has issues with sweating when I play live.  My shirt gets darker and darker as the show goes on.

Here we go in order on the setlist:

There is One more to be uploaded. (plus the 2 that were rejected by youtube) YouTube is taking about an hour to upload 100 mb so its really slow right now.  I'll update this post rather than repost.

They're all there now!

I'm loving this....

A couple of comments.

1. The usual - Your singer is hot! Great voice too.
2. Thats possible the largest drum kit I've ever seen.  I want it.
3. Great video quality, shame about the sound guy's choice of shot selection.  Particularly on rock'n'roll, great view of your drummer dropping his stuck   :icon_tongue:
4. How old were the crowd?  They looked about 12, but then I could only only see their silhouettes.
5. You guys should do some Skunk Anansie covers.  You line up and your singer's voice would suit them perfectly.
6. Loving the Warmoth under the lights.  Looks cool.

Great work dude.  :icon_thumright:

It's not that the crowd was 12, its that there was 12 of them.  The guys doing publicity for this show didn't do such a great job... plus there was a CFL game that night.  Too bad, we actually drove 6 hours to come play, but thats the life right?  And the drumset wasn't ours, it belonged to the band that played right before us.  Not that our drummer doesn't have a huge drumset, but it was a bit smaller than this.. Personally I don't like the "cage" .. it really disconnects you from the drummer.
