Les Paul Jr Double cut...Non-warmoth content

Starting to finish a non-warmoth LP Jr..double cut.  I just finish glueing on the neck.  I am going to knock down the hard edges on the body a bit and take some material off the neck...its is THICK.  The to grain fill.  Is is a one piece mahogany body and the gran is fairly tight.  Neck is mahogany, ebony fretboard with gold frets...

I am going to fill the grain with filled tinted with tobacco brown.  After sanding I will decide on what color to use/

I am been meaning to post some photos.  Bottom line...I was sanding and sanded thru....

I ended up having to sand and re-finish the entire top....

I finished buffing...I used the stew mac sanding sponges...AWESOME.  Gave a final buff with polish and here it is...very happy.
