Just got notification that the Lefty LP, that me and my son are going to build, has shipped.  Pics and specs in a few days!

I can speak from experience in saying that a doing project like this with your son will be a very rewarding experience.  Just watch your language!

"Lefty", hmmmm a righty and a lefty..... :icon_scratch:

Yep, I used to be a lefty but my Great Grand Mother thought it was the sign of satan if you used your left hand and used to smack me (rather hard I do remember) every time I used my left hand, so it didn't take me long (4 or 5 years) to stop using my left hand for things around her, and it kind of stuck.

Didn't really see the need to put my oldest through that  :icon_thumright:

BTW... This one gets the chrome neck plate you did for me.  Got to order another one for my Spalted Maple Tele.  I was thinking of doing chrome hardware for it, but after seeing the pic of Jack's Spalted Strat with the black hardware I am leaning more in that direction.

Hahaha, so he aquired it genetically....My mother and I are the same in that respect she's abidextious, and I inherited a bit of that. I can't play guitar lefty but I can write lefthanded. Always wanted to give it a go tho at learning to play lefty, but not really into spending the dough on it.

The Tele sounds cool, don't know if you saw the thread on the spalted Tele I'm doing or not. Here's the piece of spalt I'm using for the top, and a mock up I photochopped of what it will look like. The neck in the photochop should be here Fri. The top is coming from a place in Canada, and the body will be made by a custom builder here in Texas.... :icon_thumright:

So possibly another blk "W" plate is in the works.. :laughing7:

That's a really sharp looking piece of wood.  I like the warmoth headstock on the tele body, I am still thinking that way as well.

I'll be in touch about the neck plate, once I decide on hardware colour.
