Right now only Carvin offers this, but on the bass side their necks only have 20 frets.  How about 3 to 5 piece necks made of various different woods for stability and looks.

Joseph, I realize now I responded to a concern you didn't voice.

Duh.

That'll teach me to post on the internet after maybe 3 hours of sleep following two days of air travel and training.

Bagman.

I realise it's only one range of basses, And im guessing you were more meaning with basses considering the original post.
But the geckos are 5 piece laminates I believe, or 3 piece. CBA looking at 3 in the morning, Just a final forum check before going out like a light  :)

I'm not sure what you're talking about. All of the necks I've seen had a square fretboard heel with a full 22 or 24 frets.

I am talking about their bass necks, they offer two bolt on styles:
The N420, has 20 frets and fits Fender neck routes.  This is model I am complaining about.
They offer another model, N422, which does have 22 frets, but only fits their bodies.
On the guitar side, their model BN Bolt-On 6, has 22 frets, and fits Fender neck routing just like Warmoth and everyone else.

And to SolomonHelsing, I am specifically looking to modify my P bass, if I went the Gecko way I might as well go with Carvin's 22 fret number as well.  They have more wood options, however, Warmoth has way more pickup routing options. Lastly there is no Gecko 4 (and yes I know about the G4).
