Hello All. Been lurking here a while, but here is my first post with my 3rd Warmoth Build. Have the body, and a couple pieces of hardware thus far. This build is reminicent of the Fender Victor Bailey J Bass back in the mid 2000's. I have a Mahogany body with a Koa top and Walnut stripe. I also got a maple 4+1 neck with Koa verneer on the headstock and stainless steel 6105 fretts. The plan is to use all gold plated hardware, but cant decide between Hipshot or Graphtech Ratio tuning machines. Pickups will be Kiesel soap bar single coils, but havent decided which 18v active amp to use yet. Will top it off with Dunlop Straplocks.
Like I said, this is my 3rd Warmoth Build, but my 5th bass build project. Hence I call this one Bass Build 5. Hope to finish it sometime this year. I have 2 others that I'll have to post up here too when I get a chance.
