Main difference?
P90s are single coils, Mini Humbuckers are just mini humbuckers.

P90 sounds like BIG single coils (in deed is what they are)...
Not sure about mini-humbuckers... they're not that popular... But if I remember right it's a humbucker sound with a little more single vibe...

I'm sticking my all-rosewood start neck on a soloist but what do I know  :icon_jokercolor:. I think it'll go best with a yellowy amber colour for the body, like the LPTV idea.
